Each column of the table has a reason to be there, here is way!
or It indicates the proxy status in the last test. If the proxy address has a red downwards arrow, it means that the proxy was down in the last test. If the proxy address has a green upwards arrow, it means that the proxy was up in the last test.
- Copy The icon indicates a copy action. When you click it, the page will copy the proxy address to clipboard. The proxy address is formated this way: proto://ip:port, e.g., http://127.0.0.1:80.
IP:PORT Holds the proxy IP address and its answering port.
Protocol Indicates the kind of protocols that are used by the proxy. In our list there are only two types, HTTP and HTTPS. The HTTPS protocol is safer and we do recommend it, because all the data envolving in the communication are encrypted.
Anonymous Indicates the level o anonymity provided by the proxy. It means how difficult will be to the target website found your real IP address. Highly Anonymous proxy are the best in terms of hide you well, but they are slower than the other. Anonymous proxy were a mixture of some security vs considerable speed. The transparent proxies does not offer much protection to you, but on the other hand they generally are pretty fast. Which shall you use? It depends on the level of anonymity desired!
Country It informs you about the proxy country location. It may imply on the loss of speed and connection delays, affecting the user experience. Choose well and you will have and amazing experience (i.e. don’t use cross ocean proxy to access a local website and hope to have the same speed and latency experience of a direct access, just don’t).
City or Region It informs you about the proxy city or region. It also may imply on the loss of speed and connection delays, affecting the user experience if you using a proxy in the other side of your own country. Most of the proxies does not have this information, we will try to fix that soon. This column is only visible when the screen width is bigger than 1100px.
Up Time The up time indicates the percentage of tests in which the proxy was up, high is better. The formula divides the number of up times by the total number of tests executed.
Tested It informs you how long has been since the last test was executed. It indicates the seconds, minutes, hours or days. The precision depends on your screen resolution. For example, if you have a 1100px wide screen, you may see all the values ( 0 d 0h 0m 0s), in a smaller screen you may see something like 0d h:m:s, and so on, until you only see one unit, like days, hours, minutes or seconds, depending on the last test time slice.
